I had the pleasure of shooting plus model Wynnetka who is with Ford and Dorthy Combs for the Oct issue of Plus Model Magazine. This has become one of my favorite shoots to date.
It started out a little ruff. Wynnetka flew in from Chicago. Here flight was delayed and she didn’t arrive until about 6 hours after we were schedule to begin. We got a late start but it was worth it. Wynnetka is incredible. To start she beautiful, pretty dark skin with those incredible naturual ice green eyes. It doesn’t end there. She really knows how to move her body. In my experience it’s not easy to find a plus models that can move as well as any straight model for hi fashion looks. Not to put down plus models at all. Most plus models get a lot of catalog work so they’re just not as experienced in more edgy types of shoots. This was no problem at all for Wynnetka. Our shoot did not end until 5am! All the time she took risks, had a great attitude and was the ulitmate professional.
